Well it seems there were two 9dragon games:

Persistent Worlds Closes

The Persistent Worlds 9Dragons website carried this note today. It seems like Persistent Worlds will be closing up shop. So far, the North American company, Acclaim, has no such message, and lists the Game Status as “Open”. MMORPG.com will continue to follow this story as it develops.

It is with regret that we have to announce that as of Jan 22nd Persistent Worlds has ceased trading. The servers will be shut down in due course.

EO shuting down?

There are heavy rumors going around about Vult-r going to shutdown EO, This is just a rumor but I will be researching and investigating so just relax untill further notice :]

9 Dragons shut down

EEEk, Well away from EO for a sec, Anyway that does or has played 9Dragons should of got an email about the shut down, This is sad cause that game had a decent future, Heres the email I got:

Announcement January 2007

You will have noticed on the front of the 9Dragons log-in screen that The Persistent Worlds Company Ltd has ceased to trade.  This is extremely disappointing given the obvious support the game has.  However a lack of future funding has meant that the company has to stop operating. In due course the servers will be shut down and the forums withdrawn.

We would like to say that you have been a great community and it has been our honour to serve you. We wish you good luck in your gaming future and hope that you find a game where you can all be re-united.
