Mabye retiring from Eo
for Trem http://youtube.com/profile?user=Nezlox
Well I am now going to be totally honest with you all, EO is so boring right now its sad, I have been playing for 3 years as of June 4th(Yesterday)and have delt with EO and its lack of true advancment, I am now getting very sick of the game.
If V.28 does not have a decent upgrade you might just see me actually stop playing alltogether, I am sick of games where the main thing is to GRIND/LEVEL all day long without true rewards and EO does not have any good rewards once you level besides some measely stat ponts and yes i know its in Alpha also supposedly a hobby lol, Bullshit
Give me a damn break, Its a bit too late to call EO just a “Hobby”, Its been around for years and is going no where, If Vult-r doesn;t do something he will lose the majority of his loyal players and the community will be left with nothing but “Us” and shit.
I have ignored it for so long and kept hope alive of it getting better but like Wicked and I both really know, It is dying slowly and being feeled with idiotic morons and little kids that think they are badass and hell not to mention the dumbass cheating losers that know its the only way they can even handle the game is by using 3rd party programs.
If you are reading and one of those that fit this list do us all a favor and throw your PC(s) out the damn window and get a life.
The Endless Prophecy by PixlPhantasy
|
The Endless Prophecy The summer wind danced through the treetops. The sun dappling the ground below. Sat beneath a fairly large and old tree, was a woman. Her long blue hair, flowed like a river about her in the breeze. A simple smile grazed her face as she stared across the fields at the grazing sheep and goats. “Where are those boys?” she thought to herself. Suddenly, a piercing cry broke the summer quiet. “Whahooo!” From over a hill came a stampede of startled sheep, and right behind them, two young men straddled on a fine white horse. They came racing through the field, hooting and hollering right up to the young woman, who had not moved an inch. They reared the horse to a halt, just inches from her feet. “You guys are late,” she said quietly, without loosing the smile. “Heh, um ya,” said the young man in front, his hair as long as hers, paler blue in colour, glistened in the summer sun. “It’s Drac’s fault. He wanted to stop by Marble’s on the way here.” He lowered his voice and cupped his mouth, “I think he has a crush on her.” Dracoos, with short scruffy white hair, said nothing. Merely dismounted and smiled mischievously. “Always the playboy eh Drac?” said the woman. Her eyes smiled as much as her lips. Drac shrugged his shoulders and tugged at the other young man’s leg. “Hey Ronu, get off will ya, and let Pix ride.” Ronumaru laughed. “Nah, she can ride with me, and you can run along behind.” Pix gathered her bow from the ground and went to the horse’s side. Ronu reached out a hand and helped hoist her onto the horse, behind him. She was no sooner seated and Ronu, heeled the horse’s sides. Off they went, riding over the hill, scattering sheep and leaving Drac, standing slightly dumbfounded by the large tree. “I can’t believe you did that,” laughed Pix as she clung tightly to Ronu’s waist. “How is he supposed to keep up?” “Heh, Drac can take care of himself. You should know that by now.” Pix knew his words were true. Drac and Ronu were best friends, and she had known them for some time. Both young and adventurous, getting into trouble when they can, but never causing any serious trouble. She had met them while wandering near the ocean docks one day. They were fighting off a jesasaur that had grown angry with them for getting too close to its nest. It had them cornered. She, thinking quickly, summoned the power of thunder and struck a lightning bolt close to the jessasur, startling it and making it run off. They thanked her for helping them, and had she had been friends with them ever since. Pix and Ronu rode steadfast to Estaq, a small village the barbarians called home. “Bout time you two got here,” he snickered. Pix looked at him, slightly puzzled. “Always carry scrolls when traveling with Ronu,” he laughed, reading her expression. Pix smiled. ” Ah, I see.” She walked over and shoved his feet off the table and took a seat beside him. “Manners please. Feet do not belong on the table.” Drac smiled sheepishly, “yes mam.” “And don’t call me that!” “Yes mam,” he said again. Pix rolled her eyes and called to Ronu, who was talking to the inn keeper. “Any word yet?” Ronu thanked the inn keeper and pulled up a chair at the table. “Not yet,” he said. “That’s a first,” Drac blurted, “Ronu’s worried.” “Shut up,” Ronu muttered. “It’s just he NEVER leaves us wondering. It’s not like Red at all.” “Well I guess we wait,” smiled Pix. “I’m sure he’ll show up.” Another fifteen minutes passed, still nothing. The three sat and waited, watching the people come and go from the inn. As they watched, two rather large Orcs came in. Orcs were not the friendliest of creatures and usually did not enter the barbarian stronghold. They spoke with the inn keeper who nervously looked towards the three of them in the corner. “I don’t have a good feeling about this,” muttered Ronu as he watched the Orcs make their way towards them. Drac promptly stood up and held out a hand for a welcome handshake. “What can we do for you fine gentlemen this glorious afternoon,” he said as he stood with hand out. The foul smelling Orcs, glared at Drac, the slightly taller one, spit on Drac’s outstretched hand. “Foul human,” it snarled. “We’re not the ones who need baths,” quipped Ronu. “Oh dear,” Said Pix, as she slowly reached for her bow. “this isn’t going to be pretty.” The Orcs rushed the table. Pix drew an arrow quickly. Even at short range she got a shot and struck one of the Orcs in the arm as it swung at Drac, who ducked as the massive green arm came towards him. “Run!” The trio bolted past the Orcs and burst out the inn door, only to find about 10 more outside. “Damnit,” sighed Ronu as he wielded his twin blade. The Orcs closed in around them. A rather large Orc, with a large necklace of bones around its thick green neck, approached them. “Hand over the amulet,” it growled with its stinking breath. Pix stood her ground, bow poised to strike with a moments notice. “What are you talking about? We know of no amulet. Let us pass.” The foul smelling Orcs closed in quickly around them. A battle ensued but they were not winning. The Orcs outnumbered them. “No manna,’ muttered Drac as he was forced to back into Ronu and Pix. Pix nodded, indicating the same. She grabbed Ronu’s hand as the orcs closed in around them. As she did, a great wind suddenly began to whirl about the trio forming a shield like barrier between them and the orcs. “What’s happening?” cried Pix. Her voice was drowned out by the roaring winds as she clung closer to Ronu. Ronu was like a statue. He simply stared at the orcs. His long hair lashing about in the fierce wind. His grip on Pix’s hand tightened. Then, the wind stopped as suddenly as it had started. A strange silence filled the air. The Orc leader, lashed out at them. As it’s massive arm came crashing towards them, the wind barrier seemed to explode, knocking every Orc off its feet and scattering them to the ground. “What the..” declared Drac, astonished. Ronu, never letting go of Pix’s hand, ran towards the horse, brushing Drac’s shoulder as he went to wake him out of his stupor. “Never mind. Just run!” They ran towards the gates only to be stopped by yet another obstacle. A woman, dressed in Samurai Armour, her face hidden beneath a large triangular hat stood silent and still before them. Ronu glared at her, his heart thumping ready for another battle. Pix spoke softly. “She won’t harm us.” Ronu simply growled. The strange woman clapped her hands. Another horse, as black as night, emerged from the nearby woods. “For us?” said Drac, as they all watched the magnificent mare move towards them. “Huh? She’s gone…” He stood a moment scratching his head in confusion. “Never mind D. Let’s get going. Those orcs are starting to come to their senses,” said Ronu as he helped Pix onto the black mare. Drac jumped onto the white stallion and off they raced through the woods towards Aeven. ***************************** Merchants lined the streets, outnumbering the shops in the bustling town of Aeven. Everyone knew if you needed or wanted something whether it be the finest goods, something from the black-market, or simply information, you came to Aeven. The guild house, where clans from all over met to discuss business and hire new recruits was the trio’s first stop. Someone there should be able to tell them something. As they entered the building, the noise of the crowd was almost deafening. There was hardly room to move.. “Gah, how are supposed to learn anything here,” said an exasperated Drac. With that he clamoured his way through the crowd and climbed up on the counter. He stuck his fingers in his mouth and let out a shrill whistle. The room fell silent and all eyes stared at the fool on the counter. “Now that I have your attention,” Drac yelled, “has anyone seen Redrocco?” The room was silent for a moment. Then shouts started to come from every direction. “Estaq,” said one. Arguments began to ensue over stories of the great Archer’s whereabouts. Drac slumped and sat on the counter. “Well that got us nowhere. Thanks for all the help people,” he muttered. “Well you tried,” chuckled Pix, as the trio left the building. “Let’s just wander around a bit and see if we hear anything. Then we should turn in. It’s getting late. The merchants are already starting to close up for the night.” ************************************** As darkness drew, the Inn grew busy. Dracoos mingled and flirted with the ladies while a small street band entertained the travelers in the lobby. Pix and Ronu sat quietly in a corner watching the crowds and sipping fairy sodas. Pix, staring off into the crowds, clasped her ands around her mug. “Ronu?” “Hmm?” “What happened at Estaq?” An awkward silence followed. Ron’s eyes were glazed. “I dunno,” he whispered after some time. He knew, but he couldn’t tell her. Not yet “I’ve never seen, or felt such power.” Rather abruptly Ronu got up from the table. “I’m going to bed.” Slightly hurt and confused by his silence, all Pix could do was watch him as he disappeared down the corridor to their room. Sitting alone now, the days events played over and over in her mind. An amulet, Red’s disappearance, the immense power she felt at the Orcs: none of it made any sense. “Pixiestix!” Pix was startled from her thoughts to find an intoxicated Dracoos smiling in her face. “Huh? Sorry..” “Oh hey, welcome to the real world Pixie.” Drac’s speech was slurred. “I’ve only been talking to you for five minutes now.” Pix smiled. “I’m awfully sorry D. I was just thinking.” “Eh, don’t worry about it. Hey! Where’s my buddy buddy?” “He went to bed.” “What? And left you here alone. That bastard!” “Its quite alright,” Pix laughed. “Come along playboy. We should be turning in for the night ourselves.” “Yeah alright Pixiestix. You know I would have never left you on your own in a place like this. You never know what kind of scum are around.” Pix smiled and helped Drac lift his drunken form from the table. “I know D. You guys are always there for me.” A figure watched Pix from the shadows as she walked with the stumbling Drac down the hallway. *************************** Ronu sat by the open window watching the morning mist slowly make its way through the empty streets. The Inn was already starting to buzz as merchants and travellers alike emerged from their rest. The morning summer sun crept above the horizon and streamed in through the window, beaming on Pix’s still sleeping form. A smile grazed Ronu’s face as he turned and looked upon her. He then chuckled as he noticed Drac’s sprawled and dishevelled body on the next bed over. He left the window and went and sat on the edge of Pix’s bed and caressed her cheek. She opened her eyes to be greeted by Ronu’s soft smile. “Check out sleeping beauty over there,” whispered Ron as he nodded towards Drac. Pix sat up and chuckled. “Oh my!” Ronu grabbed a pillow from Pix’s bed and threw it hard at Drac who proceeded to fall out of bed and then jump to his feet with a stunned look on his face. The ensuing laughter was broken by a knock at the door. Drac groggily opened the door to be greeted by a young female warrior who rushed past him and closed the door behind her. Drac desperately tried to make himself look better for the lady. “My name is Palmar,” said the woman, not even noticing Drac’s grooming attempt. She scoped the room, shut the window and pulled up a chair. “I have information from Redrocco.” “Red?” the three said in unison as they watched the strange woman make herself comfortable. “Yes, “ she continued. “You may have already heard about an amulet. Red believes this amulet is part of an ancient prophecy. He learned of this prophecy years ago, and took it upon himself to learn more about it.” “Heh, who woulda figured on Red being the scholarly type,” mused Drac. “So what is this prophecy?” Palmar pulled out a scroll of paper and began to read. “Raging hearts, wind and fire Soul and spirit, heart of life Light and Dark, Dark and Light When key exists, earth reborn 10,000 years and events repeat “So what has this amulet to do with anything?” pondered Drac. Palmar continued, “Red believes it is the key the prophecy speaks of. He came across it only a few weeks ago. A merchant was selling it. He told Red the stone had fallen from the sky and it’s beauty was so great, he had to craft it into an amulet. Red at first thought nothing of it, until the merchant started to recite the prophecy. The stone was Azure and seemed to give its own light. He paid a hefty price for the amulet.” “I still don’t get it,” said Drac, shaking his head. “The key to what?” “He doesn’t know. Part of the reason he was calling you three to Estaq was to help him on his journey to find the truth. His plans got changed when he ran into trouble with some Orcs. They wanted the amulet and they too called it a key. He knew he couldn’t risk meeting you just yet. Red couldn’t send word to you in time.” “And who are you in all this Palmar?” asked Pix. Palmar giggled. “Me? Oh, I’m just a messenger. Red had sent word to Weeone in Hallowdale, telling her his plans had changed and to let you three know, he would find you when he could. Weeone sent me here to find you, figuring you would have run into the Orcs in Estaq and come here. I’m one of Red’s Rangers, though I’m new, so you probably never heard of me.” She paused and giggled some more. “I suppose I should have said that at the beginning.” Drac grabbed another chair and straddled it backwards in front of her. “So Palmar, newest member of the team, where is your beauty going to guide us too next?” Palmar blinked dumfounded at Dracoos, her face slowly turning Red. “Umm, I have to return to Hallowdale. My mission for now is complete. Red would like you three to wait in Anundo for him. You should be safe there.” Drac whined. “Aww, but we could use a pretty lady for company. Anundo is sooooo far away. I’m sure Weeone wouldn’t mind.” Palmar shook her head and giggled again as she headed to the door. “I’m sorry. I must go. Good luck on your journey. It wont be an easy one I’m afraid.” With that she sprinted down the hallway and out of sight. Ronu closed the door and reopened the window. The warm summer breeze rushed in. The buzz of people on the streets could now clearly be heard. “looks like we have an adventure on our hands,” he smiled. “We might as well spend the day getting supplies. Anundo is three days away even by horse. We’ll leave at first light tomorrow.” ************************* Fire spewed from the sky. The earth shook violently causing large fissures through which flames danced dangerously. A dark winged figure emerged from the flames, followed by hoards of minions, imps and demons. Destruction was everywhere. Buildings burned, people ran screaming, warriors battled furiously to hold back the dark army, to no avail. The winged demon carried a large sword made of the same flames that licked at his feet as he walked. Before him stood a woman warrior, her long blue hair flowing like a river in the darkness. Her back was to him. The demon raised his sword and served a crushing blow to the woman. Ronu awoke in a sweat. He had been having this dream for several days now. And every time he awoke in a sweat. It terrified him, yet angered him at the same time. His head hurt and his heart felt heavy. **************************** Pix awoke to the gentle pitter patter of rain on the canvas tent. She was alone, but could hear movement outside. “Good morning sunshine,” smiled Drac as Pix emerged from the tent into the rain. “Breakfast is on the fire. Um, hope you don’t mind soggy sausage.” “Where’s Ronu?” “Good question. I haven’t seen him this morning, but he cant be far. His twin blade is here.” Drac stuffed supplies into brown bags as he spoke. “Typical Ronu. Run off to explore and leave me to pack up camp.” The last days journey had brought them to the swamps. The rain made the dreary swamps even worse. In the distance was the shadow of the Death Caves. The caves, once mined for precious metals, now sat empty. Years ago an explosion in the lower caverns killed many of the miners, giving them the name Death Caves. Now, only dark and dangerous creatures roamed its caverns as well as the odd traveller who dared to make their way to Anundo. As Pix sat eating her breakfast, she was suddenly knocked over and rolled to the ground. A giant swamp spider had attacked her from behind. She fought desperately to wrestle it off while avoiding its venomous fangs. Drac tried to beat it off with the frying pan to no avail. A flash of lunar hair followed by a thunderous roar came from the nearby bushes. A twin blade came slashing down on the spider, knocking it off of Pix, who quickly rolled out of the way as another slash of the great blade came down towards her and the spider. Ronu slashed violently at arachnid, his eyes fierce with rage. Only when the spider was spread across the camp in many pieces did Ronu drop his sword and rush to Pix’s side. Dracoos was wrapping a small wound on her arm. “Are you alright? Did is bite you?” Ronu almost growled the words. “Bruised but not broken,” smiled Pix. “I guess I should have been paying attention to my surroundings. I forgot how dangerous this swamp can be.” Anger flickered in Ronu’s eyes. “I should have been here!” “Ya, where were you anyway?” inquired Drac. “I just needed to go for a walk.” “Figures. Playing around is more like it.” Ronu growled and pushed Drac rather violently sending him sprawling into the mud. The wind began to pick up as Ronu breathed heavily. “What the hell do you know? You’re the most irresponsible person I know!” “What the hell man?” said Drac as he scrambled to his feet. “What’s wrong with you?” Rage ebbed inside Ronu. Pix took hold of Ronu’s hand. “Please stop,” she said softly. “It’s not his fault.” The wind stopped. Ronu’s rage subsided but did not go away. “I’m sorry,” he said half heartedly. “Lets get out of this swamp. It’s making me grumpy.” He then turned and finished packing up the camp. The rain did not ease as they made their way through the gloomy swamp. Thunder soon rolled across the clouds and lightening brightened the sky. Rain came down in sheets, but the three prodded on. There was no time to stop. The trip to the caves was as sullen as the weather. Tired of the silence, Pix began to sing. Her voice was smooth and melodic. The very rain seemed to ease so the earth could hear. Ronu’s rage still ebbed inside him. He was losing control of himself. He closed his eyes and listened to Pix’s angelic voice. Drac joined in on Pix’s song and soon enough so did Ronu. They were soon laughing and singing the rest of the way to the caves. “Pix could make the sun shine on the darkest day, “ thought Ronu, as the Caves loomed before them. Night had fallen by the time they reached the cave entrance. They set up camp just inside to get out of the rain which still streamed down outside. Ragged, wet and tired the three crowded around a roaring fire to dry themselves out. “We’ll have to take watches tonight,” said Ronu. “these caves are too dangerous for us not to keep a look out.” “I will take first,” volunteered Pix ************************ Again the dream. Ronu sat bolt upright in a sweat again. “You okay man?” said Drac quietly as he poked at the fire. “You’re as white as a ghost.” Ronu groaned as he moved to sit beside Drac “Argh, my head. How long have you been up?” “About two hours. Pix did a four hour watch then woke me up.” The two sat and stared into the glowing flames in silence for some time. “D?” “Hmmm?” “I truly am sorry about this morning…I don’t know what came over me.” Drac smiled and tossed another log on the fire. “Don’t worry about it. I know how you get when it comes to her.” “I was out of line.” “Hmm a little. I’ve never seen you get that angry. It’s like you weren’t there..like…some beast had taken over.” Drac’s voiced trailed. Ronu said nothing Drac continued. “You really do care for her don’t you? Ronu gazed at Pix who slept soundly opposite them. She almost seemed to glow in the firelight. He nodded. “Ya. It’s like she’s a part of me. Can’t really explain it. But ya, she’s special.” “And should whip your butt if she wanted to,” retorted Drac. ”She is by no means a weak woman. She wields great power both with magic and with bow. A fine warrior. I’d like to see her kick your butt one day. “ Drac chuckled and playfully punched Ronu’s shoulder. ************************************ The Morning light trickled in the cave entrance. The trio finished breakfast, packed the horses and headed deeper into the caverns, carrying torches to light their way. Riding was not an option here. The cavern ceilings constantly dipped and raised. The path too was uneven and rocky. Small quakes moved the earth beneath their feet, becoming more frequent the further they went. Pix kept looking behind them as they walked. “I feel like we’re being followed.” “Just keep going,” replied Drac. After several hours of clamouring their way through the narrow cavern, they came upon a large open area. Two paths broke of on the opposite side, one seemed to go higher up, the other continued on the same level. A small pool of water near the cavern’s centre glistened in the torch light. As they entered the cave and neared the pools of water, howls and loud scratching noises could be heard coming from the two of the tunnels. “I don’t like the sounds of this,” said Pix as she readied her bow. The earth trembled. The scratches grew deafeningly loud. A shrill wail came from the upper tunnel, startling the horses who took off down the lower path. Again the earth trembled, and large chunks of rock fell around them. A gust of wind blew out the torches. “Fire!” shouted Pix. The torches relit. The trio found themselves surrounded by giant bugs and sickly looking deformed wraiths’ known as the undead. Pix shot her bow striking one of the bugs square in the middle of hits head. Her arrow seemed to bounce off. “Thunder!” shouted Drac. A large thunderbolt shot down from the ceiling scattering a few of the bugs and striking one, causing it to explode. Ronu let out a horrendous roar and ran into the crowd of bugs and undead, swinging violently. The earth shook again. More rocks fell. Pix and Drac fired attack spells repeatedly, but it seemed that with every one they killed, two more came. Two larger wraiths , called reapers, appeared in the upper cavern closest to Ronu. “Yesssss,” they hissed. “He has come. Bring him to ussssss.” Pix, realizing they were after Ronu, used the last bit of her mana to cast her strongest spell. “Boulders!” Large rocks appeared over the reaper’s heads and came crashing down on them. They did nothing. “No!” The reapers stared at her and Drac. The spoke some words she could not understand, and the floor of the cavern split open before her, separating her and Drac from Ronu. Another earthquake trembled from deep within the earth. The ceiling came crashing down on Pix and Drac, Ronu watched desperately as his friends were crushed. His anger grew threefold. He swung violently at everything around him, crushing the bugs like they were ants. “Yesss,” hissed the reapers, “Release him. Bow to your anger.” Blinded by rage Ronu took out all the bugs and the undead until all that stood before him were the reapers. His chest heaved as he breathed heavily. His sword fell to the ground. He glanced quickly to the spot where Pix and Drac once stood. All that remained was a pile of boulders. Drac was gone. Pix was gone. Ronu’s eyes grew dark as his rage peaked. His heart grew cold. A great gusting wind blew in from all three tunnels that lead to the large cavern. These winds were even more fierce than those at Estaq and they blew about him forming a great ball. The reapers were unaffected. The winds turned to flames, twisting and churning and enveloping Ronu. A monstrous roar came from the ball of flames and then it disappeared. Ronu was gone. Great black wings stretched out from the figure who now stood where Ronu once had. His skin was grey, his eyes burned with fire. A dragon like tail lashed about behind him. Ear’s resembling those of a dog, protruded from his lunar hair. “The Dark Adonis,” the reapers said, almost joyously. “Master!” |
